General Guidelines

Tour Itineraries
Your tour will strictly follow the itinerary provided. We do not accommodate activities or destinations outside the agreed itinerary unless they fall along the route and can be reasonably included without affecting the overall schedule.

Guide Availability
Our guides are available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for regular tour activities. This does not apply to airport pickups or drop-offs, which are handled separately.

24/7 Hotline Support
Our hotline operates 24/7 for urgent matters, such as hotel-related issues. To enable timely assistance, please report any concerns as soon as they arise, along with photo or video evidence. Delayed complaints may not be entertained.

Hotel Bookings
If booking hotels through us, we will provide a curated list based on your preferences. Reservations are confirmed 7 days prior to check-in. In the event of unavailability, we will recommend alternative accommodations of similar standards and ensure minimal disruption to your experience.

Payments
We require an advance payment of USD 100 or 200 to secure your booking. This can be paid via online payment links or bank transfer. Bank transfers will incur an additional 4% fee, and government taxes of 5% apply to all payments made via this method, totaling an additional 9%. The remaining balance can be paid in cash or via bank transfer during your tour.

Cash Payments
Payments made in cash must be in valid and undamaged currency notes. Notes with writing, tears, or significant damage will not be accepted. Please ensure your cash meets these criteria.
Vehicle and Transportation

Assigned Vehicles
We will provide details and photographs of your assigned vehicle before the tour begins. In the rare event of mechanical failure or damage during your journey, a replacement vehicle will be dispatched within one hour to ensure minimal inconvenience.

Driver Conduct
All drivers provided by Lanka Safe Tours are experienced and professional. If you encounter any issues, please contact our hotline immediately for assistance.
Guest Responsibilities

To maintain the schedule, guests are expected to adhere to the agreed timings for departures and activities. Delays caused by guests may affect the planned itinerary.

Respect for Local Customs
Sri Lanka has a rich cultural heritage. Guests are encouraged to respect local customs and traditions, especially when visiting religious or cultural sites.

Personal Belongings
While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Lanka Safe Tours is not liable for any loss or damage to personal items.
